Hey everyone! I just returned from the Heartland Hypnosis Conference in St. Louis, and wow, what an event! Organized by the excellent William Mitchell, this conference had something for everyone—whether you’re into hypnotherapy, clinical work, business strategies, spiritual growth, or stage hypnosis.

One of the coolest things about this conference is its variety. There were different tracks for hypnotherapy, clinical applications, business, spiritual insights, and stage performance. So, no matter what part of hypnosis you’re into, there was much valuable content to dive into.

This year was particularly special because it was the first in-person meeting of the International Stage Hypnotists Association (ISHA). We started with a pre-conference training called “Success Leaves Clues.” I ran this with some fantastic people—Terry Stokes, Sailesh, Michael C. DeSchalit, and Paul Ramsay. It was about sharing tips and strategies to help everyone level up their stage hypnosis game.

We had some incredible presenters from all over the world. A big shoutout to first-timers like Kacee Cox Picot and Traci Hardin. Traci was especially awesome; she took the “Level Up” course with me and Jim Kellner last year and has been crushing it ever since.

The social side of the conference was just as fantastic as the learning. There were two cocktail parties—one sponsored by the ISHA and one by the conference itself. These were great for meeting new people and catching up with old friends.

And let me tell you about Sailesh’s stage show—what a masterclass in hypnosis entertainment! His performance was nothing short of spectacular.

One of the highlights for me was the ISHA initiation ceremony. We all took a pledge and received our member pins—it was a really special moment.

I also want to give a big thanks to Bradley Clark. He helped me out with my show and even drove through some epic weather to get there. He’s a fantastic hypnotist and a great guy.

It was great to catch up with so many friends from the hypnosis world, like Richard Cole from Canada and Jeff Benink from the Netherlands. Conferences like this are not just about learning but also about building and strengthening our community.

The Heartland Hypnosis Conference is a must-attend event for anyone in the hypnosis field. With its diverse tracks, top-notch presenters, and fun social events, it offers so much value. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or new to hypnosis, this conference has something for everyone. I can’t wait for next year!

If you haven’t been to the Heartland Hypnosis Conference yet, make sure to put it on your calendar for next year. Trust me, you won’t want to miss it!
